out of 5The hotel was excellent value (mystery hotel with breakfast £55/night). Hotel conveniently located to motorway. Good bus access to reading railway station - bus stops outside. Very helpful and friendly receptionists. Comfortable room. Good breakfast. Negative - no good if you want video package (i didn't so not upset). Absolutely ridiculously expensive in my opinion. It had health facilities etc. But i am not into gyms & swimming pools preferring to spend my time outdoors.

out of 5A great short break. Hotel was great and well located to access the surrounding area. Meals in local restaurants, inlcluding pizza hut were good.

out of 5As we booked the break on the Friday for the Saturday unfortunately the hotel hadn't received the booking on their system. Fortunately as I had a copy of my invoice and there were still rooms available we booked in and got a room with no problems. The rooms were comfortable and clean and a good price for the night particularly as hotels are generally not very cheap in the area. As breakfast can often cost a lot extra the price was of particularly good value to be included. Food at the restaurant was of reasonable quality but didn't feel there was as much choice as would have liked particularly considering prices weren't cheap. Unfortunately the Irish bar was closed due to function so didn't get the opportunity to try it. Due to function hotel was busy and difficult to find parking or an empty space that was not blocked by another vehicle in some way. Overall a good deal and comfortable but facilities expensive in comparison for my liking.
