out of 5The hotel was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast choice excellent and the staff pleasant and helpful. The hotel was in a quiet location with Liverpool city and its attractions a short drive away. Liverpool sightseeing was fantastic. We bought tickets for the city sightseeing tour which were a reasonable price with stops at all places of interest. The commentary was full of interesting facts and humour. The albert dock area has lots to see and do. Along the dock and waterfront areas are a great mix of old and new buildings. The mersey cruise gave a good view of the city and its buildings from the water. The cost was reasonable and the commentary informative. Liverpool fc stadium and museum tour is a must for football fans. Again this was great value for money. A fantastic trip.

out of 5Visited southport - but it was closed prior to arrival at hotel. Used as a base to visit liverpool and found it to be excellent. High standard from hotel, excellent gym and leisure facilities with good breakfasts.

out of 5Had travelled a distance primarily to visit the western approaches museum in Liverpool. Website indicated it would be open the day we wished to visit. Visited the uboat museum at birkenhead first....Excellent place and well worth a visit. On arrival at derby house the western approaches museum was closed with no explanation ie poster/notice and there was nothing on the answer machine indicating a closure on that saturday. Most disappointing, however visited the maritime the museum by the docks. Dinner at pizza express, albert dock which I would recommend. All in all a great day out. Returned to our hotel near haydock where we relaxed, had some drinks and reflected on a great day out. Would recommend a visit to liverpool, lots to visit, friendly people and great places to eat and drink.

out of 5The hotel had a nice setting. It is surrounded by green view. The hotel in general is nice and the staffs are friendly. The downsize is only the soundproof is not so good. I can hear people walking in the corridor and the next room flushing the toilet.
