Cavendish Hotel, London

Stay Date: 09/08/15, a customer aged 65+ who stayed at 4* The Cavendish London in Mayfair wrote this review.

This must be the sixth or seventh time we have stayed at the Cavendish, but never before on the 14th floor! The views over London from the spacious and well appointed room are terrific. The staff See More  Read more information are tremendous and very willing to help make the stay as warm as can be, even when they have a problem with the kitchen! It is the location that makes it special though, on a quiet side street yet sonear to the parks, the shops and the West End theatres. It's easy to get to the Museums by tube from Green Park, just three stops, where we went to see the photography exhibition in the Natural HistoryMuseum, yet at the same time you can walk up Bond Street to the Oxford Street stores in no time at all or take ages looking in every window! Just get an Oyster card and you're away!   Collapse  Hide

London break

Stay Date: 07/08/15, a customer aged 45-64 from United Kingdom who stayed at 3* Queens Park Hotel in Bayswater wrote this review.

Overall it was a great weekend. We did have a blocked shower in the hotel. We were then moved to another room. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very basic but edible. Hotel had no air See More  Read more information conditioning and is was very hot and stuffy. Directions from Bayswater and Queensway should have been to turn right and at the end of the road turn left and take second left. This was much quickerthan the route given. Hotel was well placed for sight seeing. Close to Hyde park. Not bad value for money.   Collapse  Hide

Good hotel location - shame about the staff

Stay Date: 24/07/15, a customer aged 45-64 who stayed at 3* Days Inn Liverpool in Liverpool wrote this review.

The reception staff at this hotel were well below what was expected due to us being ignored at check-in and check-out while the staff member concentrated more on answering the phone at the expense See More  Read more information of ignoring us. He would have done better getting his priorities right and looking after customers in front of him instead of customers having to queue and wait on him finishing his phone call, thiswas just unbelievable! The hotel itself is in a good location not far from the Albert Dock and town centre shopping.   Collapse  Hide
