Great weekend break

Stay Date: 07/10/15, a customer aged 65+ who stayed at 3* President Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

Came to London to see Thriller the Musical - really good show. Booked our 2 night stay at the President Hotel with SuperBreak. The hotel has easy access to theatre land and all the attractions so we See More  Read more information walked everywhere. The windows of the hotel are being refurbished, but this didn't detract from our stay. The rooms could do with a bit of updating but the bed was comfortable. The walls between therooms are very thin so could be noisy if you get a loud neighbour. Oh and ladies, bring your hair dryer they don't have them in the room! I would come back because it was a good deal and the lovelyArt Deco Atrium bar was so relaxing, with attentive staff and really well priced drinks - an Oasis of calm.   Collapse  Hide

Very poor hotel. Evening meal was below average, very noisy.. drunk people shouting near bedrooms at 2:30 am on both nights! Think the hotel had lots of weddings on and they were wedding guests. Sleep over

Stay Date: 08/10/15, a customer aged 45-64 from Nottingham who stayed at 4* Chicheley Hall in Newport Pagnell wrote this review.

Arrived 19:00 in evening, after going to see the golf at British Masters, it was dark and didn't see any views until the morning. The restaurant didn't look busy or the bar...quick wash and brush See More  Read more information up after a long day...went down to the bar to find the beer stock empty, no pumps just bottles with only Stella and Becks and cider available in bottles 275ml for £4...that's not going to happen forme...so went through the graveyard next to the hotel to the pub Chester's Arms for a proper beer and not at rip off prices - had a meal there too. So the moral of this is a good view in daylight hours, the room was good and cosy, ideal if you're teetotal. If not stay somewhere that has a proper bar and restaurant that is inviting. Breakfast was excellent with all the trimmings. After all it was onlya one night stay.   Collapse  Hide
