Nice hotel and good modern room, but unfortunately on 3rd floor with no lift! Room was also next to the stairs which made it noisy at peak times. Good menu in restaurant and well cooked and See More  Read more information presented food but staff were overworked and this made it a slow process.   Collapse  Hide

London break with family

Stay Date: 25/05/15, a customer aged 45-64 from Stoke On Trent who stayed at 3* Royal Eagle Hotel in Paddington wrote this review.

Hotel was very comfortable with a practical family room - with 2 teenage boys it was well suited. Good continental breakfast and flexible times. Location was excellent, 2 minutes from Paddington See More  Read more information tube and despite being nervous, the tube was easy to use and very efficient, informing you all the way on your journey. Tube staff very helpful and friendly. Hotel was nice walking distance to Hyde Parkand nearby Bayswater. Too much to see and do in one trip, but crammed as much in as possible. City Cruises river cruise is a must, helpful, funny and knowledgeable staff, and easy on and off ticketsmeant we could please ourselves as to how long we stayed at attractions. SuperBreak were very helpful, especially keeping us informed about possible travel problems with rail strikes, shall definitelyrecommend and use them again.   Collapse  Hide

Great stay in London

Stay Date: 27/05/15, a customer aged 45-64 from Lancashire who stayed at 3* Royal National Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

The Royal National is a nice hotel that is clean and well situated. It would benefit greatly from an upgrade in décor, which is happening in places. The room was clean and comfortable but had a See More  Read more information slight damp smell upon first entry, the staff are excellent and very helpful. It is close to Russell Square Underground and the sightseeing tour buses go from outside the hotel. It is situated in a verynice area within easy walking distance from Euston Station (approx. 5 - 6 minutes). You can even leave your luggage after checkout for 50p per case without having to carry them with you whilst youspend the last few hours of your stay. Overall I would give this hotel an 8 out of 10 rating.   Collapse  Hide

Just OK at the President

Stay Date: 13/05/15, a customer aged 65+ who stayed at 3* President Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

Hotel in good location. Reception staff excellent and we were allowed to check in early. Room was just OK. Clean. Bathroom small but clean. Lots of noise from corridor in the morning but realised See More  Read more information this was from staff using store room not other guests. View from window was atrocious but I guess there is nothing the hotel can do about that. While the reception and cafe staff were excellent the samecan not be said about the restaurant staff. Very indifferent during the evening meals. Had to wait and ask several times for service. Begrudgingly given. We only wanted to eat! The breakfast staffwere worse. Coffee and tea are served at the table if you can catch a member of staff....... no cups on table to start and had to get own....not shown where half the breakfast buffet was ... could seewhere the rest was, luckily we went looking..........and when you finally track down someone to bring you coffee/tea he leans across the table to pour......... This would be a good hotel if therestaurant service was sorted out. As it is I won't be back.   Collapse  Hide

Great 3 days in London. Train journeys were on time and without a hitch, hotel was a 10 minute walk from Kings Cross. Hotel was great, breakfasts good and room had everything you needed with a See More  Read more information comfortable bed and great facilities. Only issue was that they charged for Wi-Fi in a 4 star hotel?? Hotel was a good 10 minute walk to nearest underground station which wasn't an issue for us as we walkeverywhere but may be an issue for others. Went to see Miss Saigon at theatre which was superb and then went to see Lord of the Dance which is unmissable. We did lots of walking to see the sightsaround the city centre and went on a Thames Boat trip from Westminster to the Tower of London which was complimentary from SuperBreak and that was brill with a great guide telling us some interestingstories about the landmarks on the riverbanks. In summary a great 3 days and 2 nights.   Collapse  Hide
