Cadburys World great day out for all the family. The tour took you through the story of how Cadburys began - plenty of interactive stuff to keep the kids amused so it didn't feel like a history See More  Read more information lesson, you got to see various parts of the factory and got lots of free chocolate! Booked Travelodge waterside in Bath. It has a great location and it's a short walk to the centre and very reasonable parking, clean and very helpful staff. Great hotel

Stopped at the President Hotel in Russell Square, fairly central. Hotel very clean and well presented. The room was a bit disappointing very clean but very small had a job to get round the bed. A wonderful break near York

The Parsonage Spa and Hotel was a great choice for a relaxing break away. The hotel has easy access to York using the local bus service. The Hotel was a delight, it had a good leisure facility, See More  Read more information which when we arrived we had our afternoon tea there.The hotel was a good, clean facility which provided excellent food, we had a lovely stay and although this hotel is not in the heart of York(where wehave always stayed when we come to York) it is well worth staying at for the value for money they are providing. Hotel and leisure facilities outstanding. Cleaners barged in at 9.30 though, if we had booked a breakfast we would have been out of the room then so found it strange as we had the room til 12. Trip to London

Travelled with Grand Central trains, great space and very fast. Arrived at hotel at 11am and were able to check in and unpack. Russell Square really central so walked along river to the Tower to See More  Read more information see the poppies, amazing! Made our way on Tube to Olympic Park to watch cycling at Velodrome. Next day, walked down 175 steps at Russell Square Tube station on trip to find theatre for eveningshow. Stopped off at V&A to see exhibition of wedding dresses and the men went to Science Museum. Attended Jersey Boys - amazing - then walked to Covent Garden to have meal At Tuttons which was as goodas our first visit! Next day walked to Embankment to see ship that had been hospital ship in war, strolled back to hotel to collect bags then walked back to station. Another excellent trip!   Collapse  Hide
