Nice hotel, shame about the noise.

Stay Date: 12/05/17, a customer aged 65+ from United Kingdom who stayed at 3* Tavistock Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

The room facing the square was lovely, nice view through the bay window but utterly spoilt by the noise coming up from the disco in the basement which meant we could not sleep. We were offered a See More  Read more information change of room and had to do a midnight flit! The room was obviously reserved as a disabled room and there was also noise from the air conditioning vent just outside the window which also led todifficulties sleeping if we left the window open to cool down. Twin beds instead of a double didn't suit but that was my fault for not specifying. Dinner and breakfast were really good and the staff werereally helpful.   Collapse  Hide

Stay Date: 14/05/17, a customer aged 45-64 from Newcastle Upon Tyne who stayed at 3* President Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

Large hotel, very clean. Rooms well decorated, although corridor needed a bit of work. Room a decent size, only one chair and no table. Cooked breakfast was very good, personally would have See More  Read more information preferred more cold choice e.g bread/pastries. Well organised at breakfast, so despite being busy was tidy and no queue - tea/coffee served at table. Excellent location - just a couple of minutes fromunderground station, walking distance from Kings Cross. Lots of restaurants/coffee shops/bars near by. Very close to British Museum. Great break in Bournemouth

Stay Date: 16/05/17, a customer aged 45-64 from United Kingdom who stayed at 3* The Suncliff Hotel (Min 2 Night Half Board Offer) in Bournemouth wrote this review.

Although a little old the hotel was quirky with winding stairs and creaky floorboards. It had a lovely feel. The staff were brilliant particularly the reception staff. It was great to be welcomed See More  Read more information with a drink and piece of cake and then have the added surprise of being upgraded. The swimming pool was warm and relaxing as was the sauna. The meals were varied and well presented with plenty ofchoice. Again the restaurant staff were very attentive. This was excellent value for money. Even the weather didn't spoil our enjoyment. It was great to be able to look out over the sea first thing in themorning.   Collapse  Hide
