Lovely weekend in Bournemouth

Stay Date: 01/07/16, a customer aged 25-44 from Portsmouth who stayed at 3* The Suncliff Hotel (2 Night Offer & 1st Night Dinner) in Bournemouth wrote this review.

The hotel was nicely situated with free parking and a cracking view, (although we did pay extra for that). On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who offered to help us with our bags. The See More  Read more information hotel was a real mix of hen/stag parties and older people but nobody was loud or rowdy. The meal was nice, but pretty average and breakfast was also nice although I personally didn't like the sausages andthere was no option of veggie made available. The highlight for me was the pub at the front. Live entertainment and a great atmosphere. I would stay here again.   Collapse  Hide

Night's stay before going to Wimbledon

Stay Date: 03/07/16, a customer aged 45-64 from Huddersfield who stayed at 4* The Lodge Hotel in Putney wrote this review.

Ideally located if going to Wimbledon Tennis Championships. Easy to find, free parking & breakfast included in the price is a definite plus. Plenty of choice for breakfast & very nice. Both my See More  Read more information husband & I are tall people & found the double bed too small & pillows were also uncomfortable. Although the room was small it was adequate for our stay. However it was very warm - air con noisy & so wasopening a window. Didn't eat at the hotel in the evening but menu looked lovely. Did have a drink though (thought this was pricey- £20 for two G&T's). Staff very nice & helpful. I would stay againbecause of location. 5 mins walk from Putney train station & just over 2 miles to Wimbledon, close to local pubs & eateries.   Collapse  Hide

Room was good - nice and quiet, only problem was it was very hot - no air con (open the window and it's noisy but that's London). Had the free included carvery evening meal - good choice. Hotel See More  Read more information location close to tube and only 10-15 walk to theatres. Also Camden Market 5 min bus ride or 20 minute walk away, so location great.   Collapse  Hide

York Break

Stay Date: 03/07/16, a customer aged 65+ who stayed at 3* Holiday Inn York in York wrote this review.

York was great with many ancient places of interest around every corner. It was a pity that York Minster was so expensive to enter and then movement was greatly restricted because of an event or TV See More  Read more information show.
