Great day out at Carsington Water

Stay Date: 25/08/13, a customer aged 45-64 from Norwich who stayed at 3* The Palace Hotel (2 Night Offer) in Buxton wrote this review.

We have visited this attraction each time we have been to Derbyshire. It never fails to impress. The leisure facilities are excellent .The staff at the water sports/cycle hire venue are polite, well See More  Read more information informed and extremely helpful. They appear to take a great deal of pride in their jobs and offer excellent customer service. It was very busy when we visited(August Bank Holiday Monday ) however theytook the time to offer a good service to customers. The trails around the water are well maintained ,tidy and clean.Having visited the venue for over 10 years ,it is equally impressive that given thecurrent financial climate ,the operators use the car park revenue to do exactly what they pledge.Keep the facility well maintained for everyone.   Collapse  Hide

Two Days in Camden

Stay Date: 27/08/13, a customer aged 45-64 from Derby who stayed at 4* Holiday Inn London Camden Lock in Camden Lock wrote this review.

Visited daughter for two days to view flat and local attractions. The hotel was chosen as it was within 15 minutes walking to flat. The view from our window was over Camden Lock was very good and See More  Read more information the room provided everything we needed for a short stay. The amenities in the hotel were good and easy to use. The breakfast provided was very good with plenty of choice. The bed was comfy, the pillowsvery good but we did not get a good nights sleep due to a lot shouting outside the hotel which was the only negative of the stay. Camden Lock is a must visit along with the many markets, andespecially the stables. There are lots of individual places to eat and drink enhancing the experience. Overall a very good two day stay in Camden staying in a very pleasant hotel.   Collapse  Hide
