Excellent Hotel

Stay Date: 23/11/14, a customer aged 45-64 from Worcester who stayed at 4* Hotel Xenia London in South Kensington wrote this review.

The Hotel Xenia is a great boutique hotel with an amazing breakfast. Only gripe is that the rooms are small. Two tube stations within 5 minute walk leading onto different lines. There's a bar close See More  Read more information by, Burger King a Waitrose and Sainsburys and plenty of restaurants around. Advice would be to get an oyster card to get around on the tube and many of the attractions are in Zone 1.   Collapse  Hide

Hotel location was excellent in terms of visiting the City of York, located just outside the walls a 10 minute work or 15 in heels. The staff were very friendly at the hotel and breakfast was See More  Read more information excellent. We ate at Little Italy, the best Italian meal we have had, the staff were knowledgeable about the full menu and were attentive and friendly, it is a family run business and that certain cameacross from speaking to the staff, would certainly eat here again.   Collapse  Hide

Amazing Weekend In London

Great stay at Cranage Hall

Stay Date: 23/11/14, a customer aged 45-64 who stayed at 4* Cranage Hall (2 Night BB Offer) in Nr Crewe wrote this review.

The only downside of our stay was the lack of soundproofing from the next room. When you can hear someone blow their nose at 5 in the morning you know the walls are thin. Apart from that the hotel See More  Read more information was a lovely place to stay and the all of the staff working there provided an excellent level of service ( & always with a smile). From the friendly (& genuine) greeting on arrival to the restaurantservice, to the leisure facilities & including the room cleaners, waiters etc, in fact every ancillary member of staff working there. The hotel has a lovely ambience, even with the numerous businessseminars being held throughout the day, the hotel was comfortable & welcoming. The restaurant breakfast & midday buffet had a wonderful selection to choose from and it was obvious that a great deal ofthought & planning had been applied. We have stayed at numerous hotels over the years, but very few that come up to the standard of this one. To sum up, I believe it is the staff that create thedifference & whoever is involved in the staff selection process should be given a great deal of credit.   Collapse  Hide

Great weekend in London

Stay Date: 21/11/14, a customer aged 45-64 who stayed at 3* Travelodge London Central City Road in The City wrote this review.

The hotel was on City Road, between Moorgate and Old Street underground stations. Bus directly from hotel to London Bridge so handy for sights rounds there but not really for Covent Garden area. See More  Read more information Hotel was good, although needing a bit of maintenance, one lift out of order and only one ladies toilet on the ground floor working. Breakfast good, cooked option fine, no cheese or ham, and a littlechaotic when the hotel was busy. Room was clean but no hand towels, only bath towels. No toiletries but this is a basic hotel so not unexpected. Staff were friendly, and bar open late. No pubs open latein the vicinity.   Collapse  Hide
