We wanted a one night stopover close to Euston and the theatre, this hotel was ideal. The room was quite small and plain but provided comfortable beds, adequate bathroom and all we needed. The room See More  Read more information and the rest of the hotel was clean and well staffed. Breakfast is a bit canteen buffet style but was good and plentiful, the tables were kept clean aad cleared by a large group of attendants. Rubbish for taking a young baby

Stay Date: 13/11/14, a customer aged 25-44 who stayed at 4* International Hotel in Docklands wrote this review.

The hotel was average but beds were terribly hard and uncomfortable. Out and about in London was exciting as always, however it is very difficult to get around with a young baby as most attractions See More  Read more information are not pushchair friendly and the tube stations are impossible with a pram as most only have stairwells. Also SuperBreak need to make better provisions for cancelled trains as ours was cancelledso we spent 4 hours on a train with the baby screaming in our arms as there was nowhere suitable to feed her. Not much point reserving train seats if you have to stand....   Collapse  Hide

Be prepared to pay extra !!

Stay Date: 10/11/14, a customer aged 45-64 from Coalville who stayed at 3* Beechwood Close Hotel (Half Board) in York wrote this review.

Booked a three night stay at Beechwood Close Hotel on a half-board basis, only to be told on arrival that the evening meal part of the deal only applied to the first two nights, and the third night See More  Read more information meal was an extra charge at ?15 per head. This was a mandatory charge, to be paid whether or not the meal was actually consumed. Weird. The itemised bill I received for "extras" on check-out wastotally incomprehensible, but it turns out payment is also mandatory for unordered and uneaten desserts on the first two nights also. Gripe over - the hotel itself is perfectly acceptable and within a 20min walk or 10 min bus ride of the Minster. Our room (3) was large, clean and comfortable and all staff pleasant and helpful at all times. Breakfast was good and plentiful, and the evening meals to diefor ( Kudos to the chef(s) - excellent ). Overall a very pleasant stay, just surprised to be presented with a ?74 bill for things we did not have or assumed we had already paid for. You live andlearn though. Overall rating is 4 out of 5.   Collapse  Hide
