out of 5London weekender started with Mamma Mia on Friday - best show we have seen - followed by bus tour on Saturday and dungeon visit which was a scream"literally", and Jack the Ripper tour which was excellent and highlight of my 15 year old daughter's trip. TGIF for dinner on Saturday night and Sunday visit to shops before home, Great weekend and hotel excellent.

out of 5We visited Penrith because we had never been before and looked for a hotel not too far out of the centre of town. The hotel was very good, we enjoyed a swim in the spa area before arranging for a taxi into town. We ate in a local pub because we were not looking for a full evening meal at the hotel althougth it looked very nice if you wanted to stay in but we enjoyed the atmosphere of the early evening nightlife then got our taxi back to the hotel (only a short distance).Next morning the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and the staff were very courteous and efficient.We would definately go back again.

out of 5The hotel was rated as 4* but the decor and general appearance of the hotel fell far below that of a 4* hotel. I've stayed in nicer rooms at cheap hotels, we were very disappointed as paying £240 for 2 nights I would have expected much nicer rooms. On the plus side the food was good and the spa was reasonable although again requires modernising.

out of 5The hotel was in a fantastic location within easy walking distance of many attractions. The view from the room was fantastic. We could see the London Eye, Big Ben, The Shard and many other famous landmarks. We never stopped as there was just so much to see and do and for me the highlights were the show, We Will Rock You and also London Dungeons.
