De Vere Venues Milton Hill House Reviews (Abingdon)

For a couple of days we went to Windsor and Oxford and stayed in a hotel not far away from Oxford with some nice and quiet surroundings. I really enjoyed the pub next door "the packhorse inn". Windsor castle was excellent, did not expect something spectacular like this, unfortunately we have been a little too late, at the time we arrived at the chapel (forgot the name) it was already closed, so make sure your are on time. The next day we headed to Oxford, and i have to say one day is far too short.

We had two days in the milton house hotel and we will certainly come again the room was lovely and the bed very comfortable.

The hotel is in a quiet location set in a private park. The rooms, although small, are perfectly nice and if you can get a good deal - circa £50 per night b&b - this is a great value hotel.

Came for a family celebration, so didn't use hotel facilities much. However, as I had recently broken my ankle, and was in a wheelchair and using a zimmer, i had asked the hotel to provide us with a ground floor room. They did this willingly, but the accees to the bathroom was too narrow for the zimmer to go through straight, and the wheelchair would not got through at all. A downstairs room is not all that is required for disabled people to have easy access. Being temporarily disabled has opened my eyes to a lot of failures and thoughtlessness on the part of companies to provide accessibility. Not the first time we have stayed here,and hope it won't be the last as it is a super place to stay. But please think a lot more about your disabled guests and create a bedroom specially for disabled guests.

Really nice break - our two 11-year old girls loved the facilities especially the pool!.
