Ayia Napa is located at the far eastern end of the south coast of Cyprus. The resort is the party capital of the island and is renowned for its clean sandy beaches. Nearby Protaras is more low-key and a favourite for families.
Larnaca on the south-east coast of Cyprus is a year round tourist destination which caters for all. It has sixteen miles of beaches, a picturesque promenade lined with palm trees and all the advantages of a large city. Nearby there are plenty of sites of interests and ancient ruins to visit.
Limassol on the southern coast is the second-largest city of Cyprus. Tourists are attracted by the Mediterranean summer climate, good sandy beaches and the luxurious hotels and apartments. Also on offer are a great number of museums and archaeological sites.
Paphos, the mythical birthplace of Aphrodite, is located on the south-west coast of Cyprus. A family-friendly resort, Paphos has an attractive harbour surrounded by cafes and restaurants. In Greco-Roman times Paphos was the island's capital and there are many historical remains including the exquisite mosaics of the Roman Governor's palace.
