We are working with nine local schools and colleges at various levels to provide workplace visits and assist with Business Studies and Leisure & Tourism coursework. We intent to further develop this by taking work experience students.

Our Responsible Tourism Policy is being developed with the aim of maximising the benefits and minimizing the negative effect of tourism locally.

In 2007 we set up a relationship with the Family Holiday Association, an organisation who work to promote the quality of family life for those who experience disadvantage, through the provision of holidays and other recreational activities. It is our aim to ensure a minimum of 12 families are provided with a holiday per year and enlist the support of more business partners.

We continue to participate in local charity events. Most recently, we entered a team into the local 'It's A Knockout' tournament in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and raised nearly £700.

We also support national appeals such as Jeans for Genes, Children in Need and Comic Relief, most recently raising £1000 for Children in Need 2007.
