out of 5Took the overnight coach from Truro to London arriving at 6.30 am. a bit tired but the excitment kept me going. Made my way to Leicester Sq, hade breakfast in a restaurant whose name I cant remember but its right opposite the Tube Station Spent the day doing Westminster, Trafalgar Sq. West End then made my way to Hotel, County at Euston. Very basic but very good value. On second day did the Docklands, totally gob smacked at what they had done to the area. I had sailed out of as a youth. Crossed the Thames by DLR to visit Cutty Sark then up to South bank for the rest of the day. Great break. Tank you

out of 5I have stayed at the County Hotel before, and it has got very "tired" since my last stay! Yes, it is cheap, but you expect certain standards all the same. The girl on reception when I checked in carried on a personal phone call for ten minutes before deciding to acknowledge my presence; the windowledge in my room was covered in a thick layer of dirt - goodness knows when it was last cleaned properly. Next time I need a stopover before catching Eurostar, I will pay a bit more and go somewhere else.
