1066 Revisited

A customer from LOUGHBOROUGH who stayed at this hotel wrote this review.

Loved Hastings as loads to do and see. Numerous National trust properties nearby. Lovely walks along the seafront in gorgeous autumn sunshine. Hastings old town fascinating with plenty of places to eat and drink. Lively night life. Local beer Shepherds Neame was rubbish. Bexhill quiet yet worth a visit. Rye was beautiful and well worth having a strole around. The hotel Chatsworth wasn't worth 3 stars as the room was very small, next to both the fire door and the lift. Tiles were cracked in the shower. The hotel bar is situated in the adjoining restaurant which was disappointing. There is good car parking nearby but we were told we had a place in the hotel park only to find it had been given away when we returned later that day.

A lovely place to visit. Old cobbled streets lovely tea shops antique shops and pleasant walks. The chair lift up to the castle is well worth a visit. Lots of interesting places to visit need a whole weekend. Jali indian restraurant on the sea front is excellent.
