Amazing Weekend In London

Stay Date: 23/11/14, a customer aged 25-44 from United Kingdom who stayed at 3* Queens Park Hotel in Bayswater wrote this review.

We were able to get into our room early which was great. Room was nice, clean and quiet at night. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was good. Held our luggage on day of departure while we went off See More  Read more information for the day. Location was great, 5 minutes walk to tube. Only comment I would have is there was no bacon or tomato ketchup!   Collapse  Hide

Excellent Hotel

Stay Date: 23/11/14, a customer aged 45-64 from Worcester who stayed at 4* Hotel Xenia London in South Kensington wrote this review.

The Hotel Xenia is a great boutique hotel with an amazing breakfast. Only gripe is that the rooms are small. Two tube stations within 5 minute walk leading onto different lines. There's a bar close See More  Read more information by, Burger King a Waitrose and Sainsburys and plenty of restaurants around. Advice would be to get an oyster card to get around on the tube and many of the attractions are in Zone 1.   Collapse  Hide

Relaxing London

Stay Date: 22/11/14, a customer aged 25-44 from South Yorkshire who stayed at 4* Kensington Close Hotel & Spa in Kensington wrote this review.

We stayed at The Kensington Close Hotel & Spa which was very Grand. The hotel was very nice but our room was not what I'd call 4* accommodation. It was very small and dark, there was no See More  Read more information robes/slippers like previous hotels I have stayed in - yet we saw some people going down to the spa with these on! There weren't enough towels or milk in our room and this was a problem when we came back about2pm soaking wet from the rain and the room hadn't even been cleaned so we had to ask for clean towels and milk so we could dry off and have a hot drink. Our towels from the day before were still wetfrom the pool (which I was surprised there was a charge to use, I thought hotel guests would be able to use it free of charge.) Also, the prices of drinks at the hotel were way too expensive! But overallthe staff were friendly and polite, the hotel was clean and comfortable. I would stay there again because the area is so lovely and the hotel is just around the corner from the tube station.   Collapse  Hide

Leafy part of London

Stay Date: 22/11/14, a customer aged 45-64 from Newcastle Upon Tyne who stayed at 3* Days Hotel Waterloo in Waterloo wrote this review.

The hotel is in a lovely leafy part of London, though in minutes you can be on the exciting South Bank or among the crowds of the West End. The hotel staff are excellent. Checking in and out of See More  Read more information reception was done with ease and we were given a warm, friendly welcome. The bedroom was clean and comfortable, the buffet breakfast substantial. The Koza Turkish restaurant over the road is really good, and the Engine pub behind the hotel is great for a pint of ale. Walking from the hotel to Southwick, the South Bank or Westminster is enjoyable and the routes are all on level ground, making it easierfor people with disabilities. The walk back is even nicer - a chance to savour the fresh Lambeth air and the green trees and parks.   Collapse  Hide
