Bulgaria in south-east Europe is a rapidly growing destination due to the good value and the high quality of the ski resorts in the Rhodopi Mountains and the summer resorts on the Black Sea coast. A pathway between East and West the country has a long and fascinating history.

A Decent Hotel

A customer from Superbreak who stayed at 4* Princess Hotel in Sofia - Bulgaria wrote this review.

The Princess Hotel in Sophia is a sound choice as a city hotel with parking facilities. The room was quiet and clean with simple decoration. The buffet breakfast was plentiful with an extensive choice of continental and cooked options although the hot food was on the cool side. Unfortunately I did not have time to try the leisure facilities. Please note driving in Bulgaria is not for the faint-hearted. Bumper to bumper driving and overtaking on bends is common place! OK Supertrans is the recommended taxi company for the 5km transfer to and from the airport.
