A customer from SUNDERLAND who stayed at 4* Mercure Budapest Metropol in Budapest wrote this review.
My wife and I walked all around the centre of Budapest. This way not only did we see the beautiful buildings, we also so those sadly past their prime and some showing the scars of WW2. Eating we recommend F's on Franz Lizst Terrace with the piano music drifting from the academy at the end of the street. In addition there are numerous cafes selling a good range of snacks and beverages.

A customer from Wiltshire who stayed at 3* Mercure Budapest Duna in Budapest wrote this review.
Budapest is a very beautiful city, with the River Danube running through. Travelling is easy it has one of best public transport systems I have experienced and not expensive to use. Restaurants are very good and reasonably priced; the local people are more than willing to help a tourist looking lost, or point out interesting buildings... Certainly a trip to be recommended
