The enchanting capital Bucharest is nestled within the Romanian Plains and is famed for its Belle Époque buildings, history and legend. Visit the many interesting museums, galleries, opera houses and theatres Bucharest has to offer. Must sees include the Parliament Palace, the Romanian Athenaeum and the National Museum of Art.

A customer who stayed at 4* K&K Elisabeta Hotel in Bucharest wrote this review.
We stayed at the Elisabeta hotel for one night only, before going on to a tour of the Danube delta. We found the hotel excellent and the staff were very helpful. We spent our day in walking around the city, which has many fine buildings, though the pavements were sometimes littered with cars, or pockmarked with holes!! It was a different place to visit - interesting to those who enjoy history, and it felt very safe. ( we are 2 elderly ladies!!)
