Bruges
A customer from WOKING who stayed at 4* Oud Huis de Peellaert in Bruges wrote this review.
Stay Date: 25/02/13
Overall Hotel Rating:
out of 5We had a fantastic time in Bruges from the moment we got on the trains which were really good connections. We stayed at the Oud Huis De Peellaret fantastic hotel with friendly staff and was really well decorated, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was well presented and really good choice of food for everyone. Some of the restaurants in the square were really expensive but if you walk around the backstreets you can fine some great places to eat. Our favourite was the R & B Ribs and Beer where you can have unlimited ribs in different flavours. Would strongly advise a visit there. Druids Cellar is a lovely bar also worth a visit. There was an Italian that we went to called Carlitos, the food was really good but found that once we had a beer and food they did not offer us anymore drinks, coffee or even dessert and they were more interested in serving the locals than us. We were there for ages and in the end walked up to the counter to ask for our bill and left. We went on a city bus tour and a canal boat ride which was fantastic and showed you some lovely places that you might miss just walking around. On the whole Bruges is a gorgeous place and we had a fantastic time and enjoyed our honeymoon, will be going back in the future.
Rosy Time at the Rosenburg
A customer who stayed at 4* Rosenburg Hotel in Bruges wrote this review.
Stay Date: 25/03/13
Overall Hotel Rating:
out of 5The Rosenburg is a small, quiet and friendly hotel about a 10 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of the market square, museums and shops. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the staff warm and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was just the thing to start the day before a gentle walk along the canal into town. There are some nice bistros nearby for dinner and Bruge's oldest pub is about 10 minutes walk away from the hotel. We had a fantastic stay and plan to return in December.

Easter in Brugge
A customer who stayed at 3* Hans Memling Hotel in Bruges wrote this review.
Stay Date: 29/03/13
Overall Hotel Rating:
out of 5We were quite tired on arrival as it took 11 hours by rail from Edinburgh. Next couple of days we walked around sight seeing and went on a canal boat. The Hotel was very central about 200 metres from the market square where the was a free concert held on Saturday night and the start of a cycle race on Sunday morning. We managed to see all the sights listed in our guide book and had a very pleasant stay. Next time we will definitely fly.
Long Weekend in Bruges
A customer who stayed at 4* Portinari Hotel in Bruges wrote this review.
Stay Date: 25/04/13
Overall Hotel Rating:
out of 5Lovely crossing via P&O ferries. Hotel easily located with excellent service. Bruges is very clean, hospitable, friendly with an absolute maze of quaint streets and shops to browse. Chocolate, lace and beer in abundance although rather expensive. But you can't visit this city without bringing some home to share with family and friends. Historic buildings well preserved and maintained. An overall 'well worth' visit.
