Stay Date: 24/10/14, a customer aged 65+ from Leeds who stayed at 3* President Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

Our hotel stay did not get off to the greatest of starts. The front cover fell off the trouser press when I tried to use it. The hotel were apologetic and supplied us with a complimentary three See More  Read more information course meal. The oyster card was a boon as you were straight on the undergound system from arrival, Didn't know that it was restricted until it ran out on Sunday morning but this was soon topped up. Allin all we enjoyed the break and will definitely do it again.   Collapse  Hide

Hotel in great location, breakfast canteen like but ok. Bar in hotel lobby had no seats! Standing room only not good if you've been on your feet all day treking round the London sights. Oyster See More  Read more information card a must - great value for money.   Collapse  Hide

Mini break in London

Stay Date: 24/10/14, a customer aged 45-64 from Durham who stayed at 4* Ambassadors Bloomsbury in Bloomsbury wrote this review.

Hotel was in a great location( one f the reasons l chose it.) Staff very friendly & helpful. Booked twin room for my friend & I. Excellent location just a short walk from Russell Square or Euston See More  Read more information tube stations. Found the room to be small, the storage space was almost non existent, wardrobe was 1 coat hanger wide & 4 deep, no dresser/mirror. En suite - had a frosted glass door which was rightnext to one of the beds, OK for those who are more than just friends! The shower was great, powerful & consistent temperature, but was wet room style & you had to remember not to leave anything on thefloor (but there was no where to put anything) again no where to store your toiletries. Very nice breakfast.   Collapse  Hide

Girls weekend in London

Stay Date: 25/10/14, a customer aged 25-44 who stayed at 3* Royal National Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

Great weekend in London for my Sister's 40th! Hotel was a great price and great package! Very central, staff excellent! Downside was that the show tickets we had as part of package were rubbish view See More  Read more information and restricted when we were told they wouldn't be! Traffic noise in hotel quite bad as no double glazing, and not enough tea/coffee milks in rooms. Breakfast was great food but like a cattle marketand you had to sit anywhere grabbing a chair wherever sharing tables with other families etc so not great. But we still had a great time!   Collapse  Hide

London break

Stay Date: 26/10/14, a customer aged 25-44 who stayed at 3* Royal National Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

I think I have genuinely visited smaller towns than The Royal National Hotel. It was vast! The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and adequate. Lack of air con was not an issue See More  Read more information in October but I think it would be in the warmer months. Breakfast was basic and the dining area like a vast school dining hall. However the location was fabulous and for the money paid, representedgreat value for Central London especially given we received a free bus tour and evening meal on our first night with the super break package we booked. We were visiting with our nine year olddaughter and visited many of the tourist attractions London has to offer as well as a couple of memorable trios to the theatre. Wicked was just that, a real must see! I would not hesitate to book with superbreaks again. Thank you.   Collapse  Hide
