Heatwave in London

Stay Date: 30/06/15, a customer aged 45-64 who stayed at 3* President Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

The location of the President Hotel is what brings us back - this was our third visit. Some of the rooms are tiny, but as we were there for 3 nights we were moved to a larger, newly renovated room See More  Read more information on 7th floor. No air conditioning so uncomfortable but that was exceptional. Reception, porterage and housekeeping staff were all excellent, but staff in the dining room at breakfast all seemed toresent being there!   Collapse  Hide

Trip to London

Stay Date: 29/06/15, a customer aged 45-64 from United Kingdom who stayed at 3* President Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

Stayed at the President Hotel. It was spotlessly clean and the staff were extremely efficient. The breakfast was the best of all the SuperBreak holidays I've been on. Everything was hot and well See More  Read more information cooked with plenty of choice. Only downside was that our room overlooked the air conditioning unit so was quite noisy. This has been the case in 3 of the hotels we've been in.   Collapse  Hide

London , Wimbledon

Stay Date: 06/07/15, a customer aged 45-64 who stayed at 3* President Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

In the Atrium (this is between the President and Imperial Hotel ) We complained that there was a mouse running about across the floor near the bar area , we were told not to worry about it and See More  Read more information nothing was done about it. The hotel was having new windows fitted so we could not open any windows and it was noisy in a morning with men on the scaffolding first thing , I was surprised we were nottold about this work when we booked and was not offered any discount for inconvenience.   Collapse  Hide

Good weekend in the West End

Stay Date: 18/07/15, a customer aged 65+ from Maidstone who stayed at 3* Imperial Hotel London in Russell Square wrote this review.

Hotel room was very good but the breakfast was poor. Rubber toast, buffet breakfast was not warm and the tea was undrinkable. Tea was left around in big jugs - stewed so much - and the restaurant See More  Read more information was a real let down for such a good hotel.   Collapse  Hide

Stay in London Russell Square

Stay Date: 17/07/15, a customer aged 18-24 from Swansea who stayed at 3* Imperial Hotel London in Russell Square wrote this review.

I stayed in the Imperial Hotel Russell Square London - brilliant location and lovely view overlooking the park. Only complaint was that the windows weren't double glazed making it quite noisy at See More  Read more information night. Great location - within walking distance to Covent Garden and a bus stop close by to Oxford Circus, as well as the tube being just around the corner. Would stay again :)   Collapse  Hide

London visit

Stay Date: 28/07/15, a customer aged 25-44 who stayed at 3* Royal National Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

The main purpose of our visit was to do some sightseeing. Therefore, this hotel was in a good location for that. The hotel was reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the same area. The hotel See More  Read more information is extremely large and very busy but there are lots of staff around to help. Unfortunately the hotel room was very basic (we got what we paid for). It served its purpose as we were out and about forthe majority of our visit and the beds were comfortable to come back to. Directly outside the hotel they have a stop for the Big Bus Tour which was perfect. I would highly recommend it to see thesights! The hotel is just around the corner from the British Museum also. Overall it was a good price and a good location. If your looking for luxury then look elsewhere!   Collapse  Hide

London short break

Stay Date: 28/07/15, a customer aged 45-64 from United Kingdom who stayed at 3* Royal National Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

The hotel was great value for money. The room was large & comfortable. The hotel itself is a bit dated like a lot of London hotels but it had everything you could need. The breakfast was basic but See More  Read more information fine & bar prices very reasonable, especially for London. The location was fantastic - it is literally a street away from the British Museum & walking distance for Covent Garden & Leicester Square. There is also a small complex of shops & restaurants across the road if you don't want to venture too far. All in all, great value for money - I would definitely stay there again   Collapse  Hide
