A 2 night break in London. Went to Theatre to see Billy Elliot. Great show, shame hotel was not nearer the theatre. Next day walked round London to the eye and Westminster. Great lunch at See More  Read more information Italian near Shaftsbury square. In the evening took a boat trip on the Thames , (not booked through Superbreak.) Russell square tube station, though central , should come with a pre warning about the 175 steps which we failed to notice the signs and brought our 2 weeks luggage to the top. We had a great time, lots of walking and a lovely ride on the (open top) "big red bus". This was certainly worth the money and included a cruise on the Thames as well. I would say the rain Journey from Durham to London was good. We got a seat even though we did not pre-book. But When i booked we did not get asked about this. So, check as its a long time to stand.
