Lovely Break in London

Stay Date: 07/04/09, a customer from Cleveland who stayed at 3* Imperial Hotel London in Russell Square wrote this review.

Staying at the Imperial Hotel near Russel Square is an excellent hotel and an excellent location to get around London. It is a 5 minute walk to the nearest tube, about 7 minutes from a lovely little See More  Read more information shopping area called The Brunswick that has a great range of shops and resteraunts. We have stayed here about 5 times now and it is fab, the rooms are clean and the breakfast is more than adequate. This time whilst we were in the big city we visited the Ideal Home Show at Earl's Court. It was amazing! Using some 2 for 1 vouchers entry was only £14 and there was a lot to see and do whilst we werein there. It is great if you love shopping.   Collapse  Hide

Had a wonderful break over the Easter Period Friday-Sunday. Booked the weekend break specifically to go and see Oliver at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. The hotel was wonderful - and the Breakfast See More  Read more information was delicious. We had a busy time, but were able to relax in our room which was very spacious and comfortable. We upgraded to a larger room. The Hotel was situated very conveniently for the shows,Covent Garden and Euston Station. Would certainly recommend it.   Collapse  Hide

A comfortable, pleasant place to stay on your own

Stay Date: 19/04/09, a customer from Sunderland who stayed at 3* Imperial Hotel London in Russell Square wrote this review.

I was in London for a conference at the British Library and had planned to stay with friends. This fell through at the last minute, so I booked a hotel with Superbreak. The Imperial, Russell Square See More  Read more information was absolutely fine for me. The bedroom was surprisingly comfortable and clean; it looked out over a courtyard, so was pretty quiet for a central London location. I had sole use of a twin room, whichwas great - single rooms are often like cells! Breakfast was fine, a reasonable range of food available. Staff were not especially attentive, though. On my second evening I arrived back at the hotelhot and tired at 6pm and had to go in search of a bartender to get me a gin and tonic! The concierge / reception staff were unfailingly pleasant, however. I would stay there for a short break again asit offered good value for money.   Collapse  Hide
