Belfast has been the capital city of Northern Ireland since 1921. A lively city with a vibrant nightlife, it is home to the world’s largest dry dock, impressive Windsor House, Victorian and Edwardian architecture and even a zoo! Must sees include the Belfast Castle and Botanical Gardens.

Belfast - Modern History at its Best

A customer from Abergele who stayed at 3* Days Hotel Belfast in Belfast wrote this review.

Stayed in Belfast to see Alison Moyet in concert. Great little venue the Waterfront Hall with a capacity of around 2000 people. Alison Moyet did not disappoint either with a set consisting of all her hits - some jazzed up some as original. Her band were tight and it felt like it ended before it had begun. Fantastic - recommended, can't wait to see her tour in June with Vince Clark as Yazoo again. Decided to tour the city and the North Coast to make a weekend of it and it was well worth the effort. Samson and Goliath may dominate the skyline, but redevelopment dominates the centre of the city. Must sees are the coastal drive and Giant's Causeway - easily acheived in a day at a relaxed pace. Recover with some liquid refreshments at the Crown Inn - a pub owned by the National trust - it is like no other. Make sure you visit the Falls Road and Shankill areas of the city to see the "peace" wall and murals. I truly believe some of these should be preserved for history. The locals were friendly and it is definitely a city with an up and coming vibe. I will visit again soon Alison Moyet - why did I wait so long to see her?

Ramada Belfast Hotel

A customer from NEWTON ABBOT who stayed at 4* Ramada Belfast in Belfast wrote this review.

asked for non-smoking but were put into a smoking room.(these rooms stank!) but was soon relocated. were allowed to check in at 1130 which was very helpful but that meant we ate onsite instead of takin our custom elsewhere. room very pleasant, with a huge bed. b/fast was excellent. but that what i expect from ramada hotels!

Breakfast in Belfast

A customer from Armagh who stayed at 3* Jurys Belfast Inn in Belfast wrote this review.

although the breakfast was nice and hot and well presented i was very disappointed that a hotel in northern ireland did not include traditional irish ingredients namely soda and potato bread instead of hash browns which is a traditional english ingredient...
