Barcelona the capital of Catalonia is one of Europe’s top city break destinations: enjoy the Gothic and modernist architecture; walk down La Rambla in the Mediterranean sunshine; go shopping in the stylish boutiques; savour the lively nightlife. With safe beaches and so much to see and do, Barcelona will not disappoint!

A customer from Gloucestershire who stayed at 4* H10 Marina Barcelona in Barcelona wrote this review.
We arrived hot and sweaty with 3 teenage girls in tow, to a very warm and friendly reception (including a glass of champagne each for the adults!) There were no problems with our booking and even though we were early, could get into our rooms straight away. We also asked for 2 rooms next to each other which presented no problems whatsoever. The rooms were clean and cool (complimentary air con). The breakfast was superb (more like a brunch) with everything you could possibly want on offer. In fact we had no real requirement for food until our evening meal. Bar service was very friendly - beer was a little expensive, but for a hotel of this standard, not unexpected. The terrace pool area was a little small, but we always managed to get space to catch the rays (5 of us!) and dip into the pool to cool off. Our girls were very impressed with the hotel and the facilities on offer too. In terms of location, although not central, it was a convenient 10 minute stroll to the Marina and beaches, and a 5 minute walk to the nearest metro station. When we required a taxi on our departure, this posed no problem and check out was smooth. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel as a great base for seeing the sights and experiencing the beach, and my partner and I fully intend to go back again as soon as we can.

A customer from Sheffield who stayed at 4* Barcelona Catedral in Barcelona wrote this review.
We used the tourist bus for one day on both the North and South routes. Very informative. We got on and off when we wished - excellent idea. The Barri Gothic and Port we did on foot on the other days. The Barri Gothic has wonderful old passageways and squares whilst the port has been modernised yet both are beautiful in their own way. A City well worth visiting.

A customer from Huntingdon who stayed at 3* Lleo Hotel in Barcelona wrote this review.
Easy airport bus - 3 stops and a 100m walk to hotel. Hotel Lleo perfectly situated, everything within walking distance - metro, sightseeing buses, main pedestrian walkway (Las Ramblas). Take advantage of buying a guide book prior to visiting and work out a loose itinerary, you will be distracted once there by so many things. We went for 4 days, and decided not to cram in all sights - relax and visit this Great City Again....

A customer who stayed at 2* Santa Marta Hotel in Barcelona wrote this review.
Location of the Hotel was fantastic. Easy to get to all surrounding areas including the beach. Did everything possible tourist wise and highly recomend the City Tour Bus which was only 25Eur per person. Spent time on the beach and the port, sampled lots of bars restaurants and clubs. So much to do and in such fantastic weather. The market is a must, Mercat de la Boqueria, just off The Ramblas.
