Quiet, not many beaches; pleasant towns/villages; excellent food at low prices; good activity options; a little limited in sightseeing/attraction terms; perhaps not regular destination but certainly a good short break or one-off choice.

Fornells is a really nice place - a quiet fishing village that is still Spanish even though it gets a lot of vositors from other resorts We took a bus to visit neighbouring Son Parc resort (great beach but other than that just lots of tourist apartments and football bars) Worth hiring a car because Fornells is so small, and the rest of the island is worth seeing. Cala Galdena resort and beach is a great place for a visit
