out of 5We had travelled to our ancestoral home to support the cricket team of the county of our birth. Typically for Manchester, there was no play due to rain. Instead the children used emotional balckmail inorder to obtain entrance to the Odeeon cinima at the Trafford Centre. Due to the infirmity of theior mother, the children persuaded us to buy premier seats. Whilst slightly wider, the extra cost was probably not well spent. The popcorn, alaomg with the extra butter went some way to compensate for an average movie "the Simpsoms". Having mamanaged to survive the movie we then went for a top up of junk food at the American Bar and grill. The Ceasar salad was limp enpough to have had contact with the grill but what was lavked with quality was more than made up by the sheer quanitity: trully American! The staff were freindly and we were able to return to our well appointed hotel room to enjoy the football on the t.v. and a drink from the bar. Followinf a comfortable nights' sleep and a more than plentiful breakfast, we headed south on the M6!
