My partner and I visit Liverpool on average once a month and if we can get a room we always stay at the malmaison. This boutique hotel is in a prime location for all Liverpool attractions and shopping areas. The hotel staff are very friendly whilst still being efficient. The rooms are extremely comfortable with beds that have to be tried to be believed.

How many times did i hear the staff say this, lost count. The hotel is not yet finished and quite difficult to find. There is no hotel car parking provided. We were woken by a fire alarm and evacuated to find no staff there to monitor the evacuation process. Breakfast service is slow and the food not memorable. On the upside, Superbreak price was a bargain for inner city but this hotel cannot live upto its stars.

Liverpool is a really special city with lots to do and to see. The hotel is situated in an ideal location for many of the attractions available to you.

As we live on a small, tranquil island, we really enjoyed a weekend in the vibrant city center of Liverpool. When we reached our hotel Malmaison we were a bit disappointed, because they do a lot of building work on the outside. But as soon as we went inside our disappointment changed and we were swept of our feet by the gorgeous interior design of the reception hall and the room!!! We had a standard room, with a little bit of view to the docks. The room hat great light design and was equipped with everything you dream of (even a tony&guy blow-dryer), the bath had a monsoon shower and a seperated bath for 2! I can recommend Malmaison Liverpool 110%!! The room was quiet and you couldn't see or hear anything of the work going on outside. We spend the whole day shopping in Liverpool One and surrounding. In the evening we had a lovely dinner at the tapas restaurant lunya! I can recommend it as well - great quality of food! Don't miss the nighlife of Liverpool - it's nothing to sneeze at.
