out of 5The hotel was great for kids, right next to marwell wildlife park so you can beat the crowds. Breakfast at the hotel was lovely. We ate outside as the weather was superb.

out of 5An excellent hotel and brilliant staff sevice from arrival to our leaving. Food was delicious and served well. Hotel would attract us again in the future to see more of colchester and the area. A swimming pool would be the icing on the cake!!.

out of 5I have stayed numerous occcasions at the wessex hotel, when i come to sing at the cathedral. I have certainly seen much improvement with the hotel and the staff. The breakfast buffet is a great improvement.

out of 5The hotel was situated between the high street and cathedral. Hotel room excellent, very quiet facing the cathedral. Staff pleasant and helpful including car park attendent. We found that there was a lot to see and enjoy in winchester. The hotel was within easy walking distance of all points of interest, pubs, restaurants etc. Or for a gentle stroll following suggested walks on town maps. Lots of history. Many different restaurants. Book in good time and be prepared to eat early if table available. Would come again.

out of 5We stayed at the winchester hotel, worthy lane, a ten minute walk from the town centre, five minute walk to the railway station. The hotel was lovely, room spotless, staff very helpful, excellent breakfast. We loved the leisure centre, nice to relax after a hard day shopping!!! so much to do in winchester looking forward to the next visit.
