out of 5We went to Krakow because we were interested in seeing Auschwitz, which makes you realise how awful it is to be persecuted & man's inhumanity to man.The hotel was good but just a little too far away from the main centre. Also, a lot of Krakow was closed for Easter & it was rather quiet.

out of 5Hotel Atrium nicely placed for the old town.Staff superb/rooms clean and adequate/restaurant difficult to eat in if a function is booked-staff not keen!Travel/food reasonably priced ,numerous eating places and bars but nice to chill out and people watch from the bard lining the various Squares.A good idea for a 3-4 day break

out of 5The very centre round market square is very clean and busy with some superb bars and cafes for people watching.the rest of the city I found a little unkempt with a lot of graffitti

out of 5We stayed at the Hotel Chopin which is just outside the City centre. Fantastic hotel with lovely English speaking very helpful staff. We used taxis which the hotel booked for us to get into the city centre which were working out at approx £4-5 for each journey and there were 5 of us - very reasonable.We visited Auschwitz and Auschwitz Birkenau whilst staying at the Chopin Hotel. We took our own car there and it tool about 1.5 hours each way. A very moving experience but I would recommend everyone to go and pay respects to what happened. Overall a fantastic 5 day break and one which I will want to repeat at some time.
