out of 5The hotel was excellent. We were upgraded to business class. When the shower would not work properly we called Reception and two engineers came quickly and fixed it. As we were going to the Theatre on two nights we had early light meals in the all day buffet in the hotel which were excellent. We spent two half days sightseeing on open topped buses which we enjoyed and also a river trip to Greenwich. I had a good walk in Regent's Park. We travelled to London First Class which also was excellent and on time in both directions. The weather was freezing throughout but that did not spoil our break.

out of 5We saw the Billy Elliott show which was out of this world. Visited St. Paul's and the globe and we loved both. Had cocktails in soho - very nice bar and definitely enjoyed the shopping within an easy walk from the hotel.

out of 5Went to London for a treat of a show and sightseeing - end of week off.St Giles Hotel was fabulous, Underground services running well, Billy Elliott at Victoria Palace brilliant, Visit to Tower of London great and Tower Bridge good too. Benefit of having dry weather for both days helped.
