out of 5Went to Edinburgh for my birthday, travelling from King Cross to Edinburgh Waverley Station which was a nice trip to look out of the window as I am an avid car driver so this was a nice break for me. Location of Hotel very good , shopping centre just across road, Royal Yacht Britannia also, which was excellent and a place to say that I have been. Castle tour bus excellent. Would definitely book again.

out of 5Hotel very quiet with plenty free parking in and around. Good bus network outside hotel running every 15 mins til late (£3 for the day travel). Food establishments within 2 minutes walk.

out of 5Great shops, great transport links, wonderful people and places. All in all a fantastic girls weekend, and successful buying of outfits for the bride and her best friend!! Oh and lots of other stuff too :-)

out of 5Had a great breakfast in Dalkeith Turkish owned. Went to City Centre for the day enjoyed the sights of the castle mile. In the evening went on the Auld Reekie Tour not the best tour areas inside the vaults very shabby and smelly. Saturday we went to city again got lost TOM TOM sent us into a restricted area Bus drivers very helpful. The hotel we stayed in on the Waterfront was basic rooms very cold. The breakfast wasnt very good no cooked food. Not good value for money we paid the same for a better hotel in Newcastle which had heaters in the rooms and cooked breakfast.
