Gibraltar
Gibraltar is situated at the southernmost tip of the Iberian peninsular where Europe meets Africa. There are magnificent panoramic views from the summit of the Rock of Gibraltar which dominates the territory as well as being home to the famous apes. Visitors are assured of breathtaking scenery, wildlife and architecture.

out of 5Took the opportunity to return to Gib for a weekend after a daytrip from Benalmadena in January this year. Trip Advisor provided price comparrison givig Superbreak the best B&B deal of third night free although no breakfast for the free night.Hotel charge for car parking is 12GBP per day but given the congestion it is needed to discourage bringing cars into Gib. Clamping is common for non-payers. Hotel did have an issue with Hot Water but manager Leslie was very efficient in rectifying problems and also gave a couple of complimentary bar drinks and breakfast on the last day.Rooms very spacious and quiet on 5th floor away from lifts (Rooms by lifts may find ding annoying late at night)Very large bed , shower. Sink is quite high and best suited to persons over 5'8". External pool and sun terrace on roof as is breakfast (inside) - good views , can get busy ! - no mini-bar in room to keep water chilled for drinking during the night.Ideally locate for all attractions and short walk to Morrisons (generally cheaper than Main St. )We will return again .

out of 5Three day break staying at the Caleta Hotel which is just 10 minutes drive from the Aiport, and overlooks the Med towards North Africa. Decent size clean room and friendly obliging staff.Easy to get all around Gib using the regular bus route which picks up a few yards form Caleta's front entrance.

out of 5This was a shopping trip a proved quite successful with most objectives accomplished regarding clothes & food. Bristol Hotel was excellent, friendly staff, rooms clean and well presented. Bed was a little on the hard side but did not prevent a good nights sleep.
