out of 5The staff were terrific from the lady on reception through to the manager of the restaurant at breakfast. The only drawback of our hotel room was that it had an adjoining door and you could hear everything being said in the next room. The noise went on until the early hours.

out of 5We went on a free guided walk of medieval Exeter. Despite the pouring rain, it was excellent. The guide really knew Exeter and made the walk extremely interesting.

out of 5The hotel is ideally placed adjacent to the city centre and is within easy walking distance of the railway station. It opened in June of this year and is clean, spacious and welcoming. The staff in particular were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Harry's grill bar in Northernhay Place is an excellent place for dinner, the steaks are to die for and it is best to book in advance! Exeshed within Princesshay is also a great place for a drink, especially cocktails during happy hour.

out of 5We have always bypassed Exeter but decided to try it. We were very impressed with the hotel, the friendly staff and, dining in one evening, the food in the restaurant. We thought the breakfasts were also excellent.

out of 5Tiverton for me and particularly the hotel I stayed at, were ideal locations from which to base a short touring holiday of the area, my travels included Torquay, Dartmoor, Megavissey and Polperro.
