out of 5Hotel in the grounds of a previous (palatial) psychiatric hospital!!(Now a university campus)% minutes from town centre.Slightly bizarre modern building but comfortable.Sadly no weekend maintenance so cold bathroom because heated towel rail out! Welcoming staff.Enjoyable wedding meal

out of 5Very good hotel.Conveniently situated in its own grounds a short drive from the centre of Dumfries and other interesting places that one may care to visit.The Robert Burns trail is well worth following giving an insight into the life of the man himself and the period of time he lived in.

out of 5Travelled around old family areas of Dumfries and Galloway and visited some long forgotton relatives.You were unable to provide a hotel in the areas we visited on other days at the same time ie Stranraer.
