About Harrods Champagne Tea & Tour
These tickets include a vintage Harrods double-decker bus tour followed by afternoon tea at Harrods
Part 1 - Vintage Double Decker Bus
Take your seat on board the Harrods Vintage double-decker bus. The former 1960's Routemaster has been beautifully restored and is the perfect way to experience London. If the weather is good you can enjoy the classic open top bus.
Part 2 - See all the sights of London
Whilst on the vintage bus, you can enjoy Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, the London Eye, Trafalgar Square, Nelson's Column, St. Paul's Cathedral, London Bridge and the Tower of London, all brought to life by the professional guide.
Part 3 - Cruise on the River Thames
Relax and unwind on a short cruise on the River Thames, onboard the luxury air conditioned catamarran. The cruise is a great way to see some of London's hidden treasures including Sheakespeare's Globe Theatre, the Golden Hinde Boat and Cleopatra's Needle, as well as the wonderful bridges that span the river. Have your cameras at the ready for the perfect photo of the London Eye.
Part 4 - Watch the inspection of the Guard
Next you head to Horseguards’ Parade to watch the world famous Guard Inspection ceremony. Horseguards is the gateway to the Royal Household including Buckingham Palace and everyday at 4pm the mounted cavalry appear, dressed in their famous uniforms, while they are being inspected.
Part 5 - Champagne tea in the Georgian Restaurant, Harrods
To end the day you head to Harrods for a Champagne tea in the classical Georgian restaurant. Relax and enjoy the music from the live pianist while the waiters serve you delicious homemade scones, strawberry Jam and clotted cream with a pot of Georgian blend tea and a glass of Champagne.
Due to the Nature of the Vintage Bus being 50 years old the tour is not suitable for wheelchair access. A carer must be able to assist someone on and off the bus. Customers who require the aid of walking stick should be aware that some walking is involved for photo opportunities and to board the cruise.
