The Bodyguard musical arrived at London’s Adelphi Theatre on 6th November 2012 and has continued to attract huge crowds. The Bodyguard musical will thrill audiences with the same iconic songs and whirlwind love story from the original Hollywood blockbuster.
The Bodyguard musical follows the tale of former Secret Service agent turned bodyguard, Frank Farmer who is hired to protect superstar singer Rachel Marron from her mysterious stalker. With a power struggle that turns into a passionate romance, The Bodyguard musical is an iconic romantic thriller.
This new West End musical will feature a multitude of Whitney Houston's greatest hits for guests on The Bodyguard theatre breaks to enjoy, including Queen of the Night, One Moment in Time, Saving All My Love, I'm Your Baby Tonight, I Have Nothing and I Wanna Dance With Somebody and the stunning I Will Always Love You.
Heather Hadley is not scheduled to perform on Saturday matinees or on; 13th to 15th May, 17th to 19th June,15th to 17th July, 20th to 23rd May and 24th – 26th June 2013
Lloyd Owen is not scheduled to perform on 15th to 19th February, 25th to 30th March, 25th to 27th April, 27th May to 1st June and 1st to 6th July 2013.
From 12th August to 7th September Gloria Onitiri will be performing all evening shows. Understudy Shanay will perform the two matinee shows.
PLEASE NOTE: In September this year, multi award-winning recording artist Beverley Knight will join the cast of the hit West End musical, The Bodyguard, to play the leading role of Oscar-nominated superstar Rachel Marron. Also joining the cast will be Tristan Gemmill who will play Rachel’s bodyguard, Frank Farmer.
Performance times for The Bodyguard theatre breaks are as follows:
Before April 29th 2013:
Evenings: Monday - Saturday 7.30pm
Matinees: Wednesday & Saturday 3.00pm
After April 29th 2013:
Evenings: Monday - Thursday and Saturday 7.30pm, Fridays 8.30pm
Matinees: Friday 5.00pm & Saturday 3.00pm
Evening performances on Fridays the 13th, 20th & 27th September 2013 have now been changed from 8.30pm to 7.30pm.

The running time of The Bodyguard is 2hrs 30 minutes including one interval.
Please note that The Bodyguard contains: Theatrical Smoke, Gunshots, Pyrotechnics, Lasers, Strobe and flashing lights.
